Day 67: Mar 16th- “Not what you know, but who you know”

As far as school goes

Today I got back my essay from shooting an elephant

So my teacher tells me that she liked my paper

Because my writing style was unique & entertaining

So I was thinking to my self

“YAY this means I GOT ATLEAST A B!!!”

….WELL I was WRONG!

I guess that means exactly that she just liked my writing style

OnCE again one of my teachers filled me with False hopes

& shot me down.

But instead of this time it being able no numbers less than

ZERO!

It was me getting a “C” instead of a B!!

But its all good! Cause I can live with a “C”!!

So I decided today I would wash clothes

Because as gross as it may seem

I HAVENT WASHED CLOTHES…

SINCE NYDIA’s Party!!..

That was atleast a month ago…

But the thing is I still had clothes in my closet to wear

To the point where I probably could’ve not washed em for a while

I wouldn’t have washed em

if they weren’t falling out of the corner that I had them stacked in

[mind you, the pile was too my shoulders]

this may take a while….

but anywho

I got some great info

Though

I GOT A JOB

my dad helped me out

& put in a few words to his friend about

me needing a job..

which is going to be way better than the job

but @ church

No but really, we had a spectacular time at church

I went out to the country

OH GOD!!!!
the SATs are dreadful
I HAD to AWAKE
at freakin......

Thats the time I get ready for alonso on a week day
thats not right!!
people shouldnt wake up before 10 on Saturdays

but th chick/teacher who prompted
my SATs reminded me of
Ms McCoy
she was off the chain
she was trying to let us leave early but somebody snitch & we had to stay
I was really hoping to leave early to get to a fashion sketching class at IADT..
Oh Well for that!

i never wanna take the SATs again...


I was supposed to go to Ybor with my brother
but he ditched me...
so sad.. something about finding an apartment.. Blah Blah Blah
all I have to say is Fashion waits for no man
so I went with Manny, Marco, Cody...

just had to catch up on some old time with some old friends

I had plans on going out with the Boys
but I had to face responsibility

& I said Self YOU NEED TO TAKE THOSE PICS CAUSE THEY'RE DUE MONDAY!!!

so I did....
I think they are going to come out quite well
didnt take them all
but I have most of them done...

Another reason why I didnt go out is because I have dag on
SATs in the morning

Day 61: Mar 9th "No FCAT"

So the Jits had FCAT today
so I didnt go to school till like
11:05
which was still too early
because they made us sit & wait for them to be done!

School flew by cause there was no time to do anything

so we went to Tiffany's pool
but by the time I got there the sun was going down so we just sat in the Jacuzzi..

but we still had a good time.

As a designer
its really hard for me to sit
& sketch
because I like to work with the fabric & see what happens
natraully
BUT
I'm trying to enter a Scholarship Contest
& I have to sketch the design first....
so far my skills are showing some great results
my sketching style is UNIQUE to say the least


but its gonna be grat

but some how today
between the wrong time & starbucks

McKinzey, Danielle. & Kiese of the solo crew
ended up at my church
cause Im gonna be working on some costumes
for the crew
& ofcourse McKinzey couldnt stay till & tow it up LOL

& taking my sister to the movies

Day 57: Mar 6th PROM!!!

So at first
I was thinking
"Why is everyone not going to school, they'll have enough time after school"
but then I realized OH CRAP there is a lot to do

I was at school till 5th period
which btw, we go to watch that King Arthur Movie we made
HILLARIOUS!!!!

but anywho
I left because
i needed to:

1. Clean My Room
2. Get Porscha her belt
3. Get my hair Cut
4. Get ready for Prom
5. Pick up Kiara
6. Make her corsage
7. Wash my mom's truck...

which is a lot to do in a few hours
cause the hair cut alone took an 1 & 1/2
I didnt realize that barber shops dont take
Debit cards so I had to go to the bank...
[but I wasnt about to pay a $2.00 charge to get money so I just went to my bank
down the street]

but I managed to get everything done
& the night went smoothly

other than the fact that I was late to dinner
because I had to pick up my sister

& You get to go to Universal & Islands for free

its like to maintain a sucessful youth ministry
I really enjoyed day One

which is prettty much
free money that they goverment gives you for trying to get somewhere in
BUT
APPARENTLY
your parents couldnt have done something with their life for you to get the money
because I'm ELIGIBLE FOR NOTHING!!!
the thing that makes me upset is that when you filling it out
it says that your parents income has nothing to do with what you can get

I guess I'd have to be like this one chick that was there
to get some money...
her Dad is in the hospital & her mom has no Job...
& they said she was elgible....

I guess being blessed has its consequences

ANYWHO
I decided to spend the rest of the day trying to find a suit to wear to prom
..... that was a failure!
It seems like no suit places had a ONE BUTTON SUIT!!!

but they all offered to order me one...
& I dont do well with ordering things to wear
because they never seem to fit
& that would be to close of a time crunch if it didnt fit

so I had to go to my last resort of finding a suit
.....
UNIVERSITY MALL!!!
I hate that mall
its so URBAN!!!

I only go to this mall for Zumiez, Hot Topic, Anchor Blue...
& apparently to find a suit.
But other than that I can live with out it...
& even with the place to find a suit there,
I didnt find one!
